Tucson Tootsie

Who is that blonde beauty with the great legs and the fetching goatee? A fine question. None other than our very own Denise, I mean Dennis. Hard as it may be to believe said Dennis did in fact don dance hall duds and do the can-can in front of about 50 people--luckily all of them strangers except his 3 sons laughing uproariously and his wife busy snapping photos. It was the biggest highlight of our trip to Old Tucson home to famous movies such as Rio Bravo, The Quick & the Dead and Tombstone. Dennis was quoted saying "I guess that's what you get for sitting on the front row." Note that he is wearing those beatiful blonde locks ON TOP of his baseball hat. When he was backstage dressing they insisted he keep it on. I guess it does add to the over all comic value of the whole affair. That was just a small slice of our adventures during Spring Break down to Tucson to visit my sister Madame C. Our Spring Break didn't involve any topless co-eds (unless you count the boys in their swim trunks) or drunken excesses (although the boys did consume alot of rootbeer). Another highlight (although not as laugh out loud funny) was the trip to Karchner Caverns. It is an amazing cave full of stalagmites, stalagtites and other melting water type rock formations. The tour took an hour and a half and I was sure the boys would get bored (at least the 7 year old) but not a bit. They all loved it and thought it was way cool. They also took an underground mine tour in Bisbee where they got to wear yellow slickers, hard hats and nifty mine lights. We spent lots of time swimming in the pool at Madame C's condo (at least Cooper the Fish spent alot of time in the pool). It was definitely worth the two days driving there and two days back--and yes, the boys were fabulous!
